Here's another question. There has been a lot of talk about motorcycle tires on ebikes. What's your opinion? And is there a difference between weight on the wheel spinning and weight on the bike?
It really depends on your situation. A high power set up doesnt have to have motorcycle tires but if course its better if you do. It could be risky not having a very heavy duty tire on riding at high speeds. The weight and thickness is what matters. More weight keeps you grounded and the combination provides a better suspension. There is definitely a noticeable difference when riding. For a Ariel Rider at stock i personally dont think it matters to much. Over all having motorcycle tires they’ll definitely last longer and make for a smoother ride either way. Try to get something weighing about 8IB’s ir at least a thickness of 4mm
